While you’re in Bangalore…
-
Bangalore's food scene is one of India's best. Start with a proper South Indian breakfast — idli, vada, filter coffee — at any old-school darshini. Then work your way up to the newer restaurants in Indiranagar and Koramangala for everything from craft beer to wood-fired pizza.
-
For fabrics, bangles, sarees, and everything in between, Commercial Street and Chickpet are unmissable. Budget more time than you think you need — and more money too!
-
Two beautiful green lungs in the middle of the city. Lalbagh has a 200-year-old botanical garden and a famous glass house. Cubbon Park is perfect for an early morning walk before the city wakes up.
-
Since you're already coming to Nandi Hills for the wedding — why not plan to catch the sunrise? It's one of the most stunning views in Karnataka, especially on a clear December morning.

Bangalore was India's craft beer pioneer and still does it best. Toit, Arbor Brewing, and Brewsky are institutions. For coffee, Third Wave Coffee and Blue Tokai are great shouts.
